As a woman in business I am profoundly aware every day that my life might look drastically different in any other country than America.

I don’t need to tell you the unspeakable things happening to women (and children for that matter) all over this world. Brother Google can help you find any news article or story you want on the topic. Let me just tell you it’s frightening what one human being will do to another, and downright scary. Which is one reason why I don’t understand anyone who doesn’t have fire in their belly daily to soak in this life???

Are you with me on this? Are you nodding your head in agreement?

Despite our problems, we still live in the most free place on Earth where opportunity literally is everywhere if you are looking for it & apply yourself.

We are beyond measure in abundance in America!

Whatever you can dream you can be. That’s not just a cliche in some country music song it’s true. ?

I tell my children as much as I can that they can be whatever they want to be. ?‍?‍?Thank God that is true and I pray it continues to be true for generations to come.

The late President Reagan said
“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men & women were free.”

I’m grateful beyond measure for anyone who has served to preserve our freedom, or who are currently serving, or who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

A few days a year we stop time ? we drop to our knees ? and we give unconditional gratitude to those who bravely served our country and especially those who didn’t get to come home. ??

Thank you to every soldier who fought for our freedom.

Thank you to every child who didn’t have a mom or dad come home.  Your parent is a hero.

Thank you to the spouses and the families that gave up precious family time – not just at holidays – but every day. Thank you for sacrificing your time so others can have time. 

Thank God we have men and women with generous hearts, and bravery beyond words who rise above the rest to do what is needed.
