Why Consider Guest Blogging?
Guest blogging is a great way to gain exposure. When you guest blog with Momalot we share your post to all of our social media outlets like Facebook and Pinterest where you get exposed to hundreds of thousands of engaged viewers.
PLUS you get a guest blog bio on every post you contribute. This bio includes your name, blog backlink, a bit of info about you, your profile image and of course links to any of your social media outlets.
It’s a win-win! You get great exposure and we get content that we may not have great expertise in!
Guest Posting Requirements
A piece of original content (not published anywhere else) at least 700 words.
The post will be required at least a week before going live, to give time for formatting, SEO and creating the graphics. You can give us any graphics or images you’d like included as well, but this is not mandatory.
We reserve the right to edit content for readability, content and to maximize SEO opportunities.
As you write, please consider how you will add value to the reader. What will they ultimately take away from your post? How will you inspire them? Will your post stick with them for the rest of the day, maybe a week, or even change their life?
Your post should not pertain directly to your own experiences, but certainly use those experiences to offer knowledge to your readers and a foundation to grow from.
Tone of Voice
Always: light, conversational, upbeat, sincere, confident, imperfect, relatable
Never: know-it-all, condescending, negative, mean, rude, callus, sarcastic
Preferred: Either a call-to-action, inspiring steps or big aha! In other words leave your readers walking away with something to do, or something on their mind (like a perspective shift or different way of looking at a situation).
