Write with Us – Contribute to Momalot
Momalot is accepting guest writers! Here’s a quick form with more information.
Our demographic is 28-50, work at home moms interested primarily in Self-Care, Motherhood and Parenting – we also include articles on the topics of family, faith, health, wellness, and lifestyle.
If that sounds like a good fit for you, then we invite you to fill out this quick form with your ideas for a blog post. Once we review your submission, we will let you know by email if it would be a good fit for my audience and can confirm a date for posting live.
Why Consider Guest Blogging?
Guest blogging is a great way to get your blog name out there. When you guest blog with Momalot we share your post to all of our social media outlets. You get some some back-links to your posts and site and we get content that we may not have great expertise in!
PLUS you get a guest blog bio on every post you contribute. This bio includes your name, blog backlink, a bit of info about you, your profile image and of course links to any of your social media outlets.
Guest Posting Requirements
A piece of original content (not published anywhere else) at least 1000 words. You can include up to 3 links within the post but no affiliate links unless it is to your own product/service. And definitely feel free to plug your own stuff!!
The post will be required a week before going live, to will give time for formatting, SEO and creating the graphics (include any you would like as well).
We reserve the right to edit content for readability, content and to maximize SEO opportunities.
As you write, please consider how you will add value to the reader. What will they ultimately take away from your post? How will you inspire them? Will your post stick with them for the rest of the day, maybe a week, or even change their life?
Your post should not pertain directly to your own experiences, but certainly use those experiences to offer knowledge to your readers and a foundation to grow from.
Tone of Voice
Always: light, conversational, upbeat, sincere, confident, imperfect, relatable
Never: know-it-all, condescending, negative, mean, rude, callus, sarcastic
Preferred: Either a call-to-action, inspiring steps or big aha! In other words leave your readers with walking away with something to do, or something on their mind (like a perspective shift or different way of looking at a situation).
Submit Your Ideas or Article
We’re excited to hear from you! Go ahead and fill out the brief form below. We’ll typically get back to you within 24-48 hours. If your submission is confirmed we will schedule a date and time for the live post.
