Modere Liquid Biocell is considered a supplement and as with any new supplement it’s always a good idea to do research before ingesting or putting anything new into your body.
In this article I’ve attempted to provide you with all information so you can do your own research and make your own decisions. This information includes:
- What is Modere Biocell?
- Who is responsible for the safety of dietary supplements?
- Independent research of ingredients
What is Modere BioCell®?
Modere Liquid BioCell® is a total body anti-aging supplement. To use this Modere collagen drink people take a small amount of it by mouth twice daily.
The product is formulated with a Collagen/HA Matrix® Technology. This technology is basically hydrolyzed collagen type 2, hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate, along with other natural ancillary ingredients as part of it’s proprietary blend.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a clear, gooey substance that is naturally produced by your body. The largest amounts of it are found in your skin, connective tissue and eyes. Its main function is to retain water to keep your tissues well lubricated and moist. Hyaluronic Acid cushions joints and keeps them strong and flexible, increase supplies of joint-lubricating synovial fluid.
Chondroitin sulfate is an important structural component of cartilage and provides much of its resistance to compression. Along with glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate has become a widely used dietary supplement for joint health.

In clinical trials this blend has shown to support joint and muscle fitness
The trials also show improvement with tissue health, counteract skin photoaging, restore youthful skin, and support healthy hair, nails, gums and eyes.
According to information from Modere website, a human bioavailability study demonstrated that within 28 days, daily intake of Liquid BioCell led to a 60-fold increase of hyaluronic acid in the body resulting in reduced wrinkles from the inside out.
In an 8-week clinical trial, subjects with joint discomfort experienced improvement in physical activity and with continued use, many experienced significant mobility.
More studies are referenced on the Modere website.
Who is responsible for the safety of dietary supplements?
Supplements are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), but not as drugs or as foods. They fall under a category called dietary supplements. The rules for dietary supplements are such that manufacturers don’t have to seek FDA approval before selling dietary supplements. Therefore like many other supplements, Modere Biocell is not approved by the FDA.
As stated on the FDA website, the FDA is not authorized to review dietary supplement products for safety and effectiveness before they are marketed.
The manufacturers and distributors of dietary supplements are responsible for making sure their products are safe BEFORE they go to market.
Manufacturers are required to produce dietary supplements in a quality manner and ensure that they do not contain contaminants or impurities, and are accurately labeled according to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and labeling regulations.
If a serious problem associated with a dietary supplement occurs, manufacturers must report it to FDA as an adverse event. FDA can take dietary supplements off the market if they are found to be unsafe or if the claims on the products are false and misleading.
Are Modere Liquid BioCell Ingredients Safe?
The main goal of Modere Liquid BioCell is healthy aging, active joints and younger-looking skin through one simple daily supplement drink. The drink itself is 2-4 ounces. There are four main varieties of Modere Liquid Biocell — Pure, Sport, Skin & Life.
All of these variations contain the matrix of collagen, hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate. Three of the four contain added beneficial ingredients based on desired wellness goals.
I researched all ingredients against databases like the one at the Environmental Working Group (EWG) and found no conflicting information. I encourage you to do your own research and share what you find in the comments below.
