So let’s talk about Apple Cider Vinegar for Weight Loss. Before we dive into how to use Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) for weight loss, let’s consider what it is and why it works.

What You Absolutely Need to Know About Apple Cider Vinegar for Weight Loss-min

WHAT IS Apple Cider Vinegar?

Natural Apple Cider Vinegar is made from fresh, crushed, organically grown apples and allowed to mature in tanks, which boosts its natural fermentation qualities. When mature, it contains a web-like substance, called “mother” that becomes visible when the rich brownish liquid is held to the light.

Before you start guzzling lots of ACV, make sure it’s diluted with water. Apple cider vinegar in its pure form is acidic and may erode tooth enamel or even burn your mouth and throat.

The brand I trust the most is Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar. Certified Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar is unfiltered, unheated, unpasteurized and 5% acidity. Contains the amazing Mother. Plus the company has been around for generations.

While there isn’t a huge body of research to suggest ACV is a miracle health cure, the testimonials and reviews you’ll find online can be compelling.

How does ACV work for Weight Loss?

Well here’s the thing, some people think that Apple Cider Vinegar is effective for weight loss and others believe it has no effect on weight loss.

Paul Bragg founded Bragg Live Foods in 1912. Paul passed away in 1976 and his daughter Patricia Bragg took over the company. The website makes claims that its apple cider vinegar may aid in weight control.

While the vinegar may help limit your appetite, you may not want to count on it as your ticket to losing those unwanted pounds. Consult your doctor before adding Bragg’s apple cider vinegar to your diet.

The Bragg’s brochure for its apple cider vinegar cites a 2004 study published in Diabetes Care that supports the use of the vinegar for weight loss. Keep in mind, this study investigated the effects of vinegar on blood sugar and insulin levels rather than on weight loss.

There is also some evidence that vinegar ingestion increases short-term satiety.

Acetic acid, a compound found in apple cider vinegar, has been cited in some studies as the active ingredient that helps with weight loss.

Bottom line, do your research. Nowhere online did I read that taking ACV as directed would adversely affect your body. Whether or not it will help you actually lose weight remains to be seen.

For me personally I feel like the  Bragg’s ACV helps me to get the gunk out. In other words, when I do my favorite cleanse I will also make sure to drink apple cider vinegar to help flush out any extra toxins the cleanse is helping to clean out.

I use Bragg’s ACB for weightloss, along with a few trusted products from Modere such as the Trim, the Green Qi and Activate Cleanse. To get money off of your first order, CLICK HERE. How to decide on an Apple Cider Vinegar

Look for the Mother

If you’ve ever had a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar and looked at the bottom you can see the “mother.” This is the brownish rather foggy material that settles at the bottom of the bottle. It is highly nutritious.

If you can’t see the mother at the bottom of a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar then don’t buy it. Without a mother it means the ACV was lacking something in the fermentation process or it was heated up at some point along the way which means all of the life-changing benefits are gone from the liquid.

The “mother” is a cluster of proteins, enzymes and beneficial bacteria.

Liquid is best

Apple Cider Vinegar comes in liquid or pill form. Liquid is more bioavailable which means your body can more readily absorb and use the nutrients, enzymes and benefits from it.

Trust in a Trusted Brand

I only drink Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar. Certified Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar is unfiltered, unheated, unpasteurized and 5% acidity. Contains the amazing Mother. Plus the company has been around for generations.

Buy Raw Unfiltered

For most apple cider vinegar uses, you’ll also want to go for unfiltered raw apple cider vinegar. When apple cider vinegar is filtered, it removes the mother as well as any sediment, stripping out most benefits and leaving behind a clear, amber vinegar.
